Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP & HVAC Design Engineer with strong expertise in Chiller Plants (air-cooled/water-cooled) and VRV/VRF systems to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform heat load calculations and cooling load estimations as per ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Design and select chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment, leveraging technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop detailed HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD / Revit, applying creativity and attention to detail.
  • Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets, meeting project requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for seamless project integration, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review vendor proposals and conduct thorough technical evaluations, ensuring the highest quality and value for our projects.
  • Contribute to value engineering, energy efficiency improvements, and system optimization initiatives, driving innovative solutions and cost savings.
  • Provide expert technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning stages, guaranteeing successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), demonstrating a strong foundation in mechanical principles and practices.
  • 5-8 years of experience in MEP & HVAC design engineering, showcasing expertise and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Prior exposure to commercial, industrial, healthcare, and large infrastructure projects is preferred, highlighting adaptability and versatility in different project environments.
