  • Job Role: Business Development Representative
  • Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate
  • Experience: 0-3 years
  • Location: Mumbai (Hybrid/Remote)
  • Reporting Manager: Manager – Business Development
  • Candidate Industry: KPO/Research & Consulting

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify potential clients, research their needs, and promote service offerings to generate interest.
  2. Connect with decision-makers via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to understand how we can solve their business challenges.
  3. Negotiate and convince for meetings, fix appointments, and open doors.
  4. Track leads, nurture relationships, and ensure a smooth transition to the sales team.
  5. Support lead generation, contact discovery, account profiling, contact verification, email appends, CRM appends, information cleansing, and maintenance.
  6. Maintain accurate customer databases for mailings, reporting, and marketing programs.
  7. Track market trends, competitors' insights, and industry shifts.
  8. Create client databases, conduct research on prospective clients to generate leads.
  9. Exposure to international prospects is preferred.
  10. Experience/knowledge in investment research or consumer insights will be an advantage.

Personal Attributes:

  1. Ability to work against tight goals and deadlines.
  2. Ability to work on unstructured projects somewhat independently.
  3. Strong communication and persuasion skills—confidence is key.
  4. Tech-savvy – comfortable with CRM tools, LinkedIn, email outreach.
  5. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  6. Expertise or great comfort with numbers.
  7. Foreign language proficiency will be an added advantage.
