As a key player in our technical operations team, you will be the crucial link between our Support, Engineering and Infrastructure teams. Your role will enable a seamless customer experience by expertly organizing and driving the investigation of production issues in our cloud-based application.
This is an engineering position, not a management position.
You will have a positive impact on product quality by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate complex production issues raised by customers, Support and Engineering
- Work as a liaison between Support and Engineering to facilitate issue resolution and drive the implementation of best practices
- Create and track progress of problem tickets in project management tools
- Analyze data to create informative reports for stakeholders
- Debugging of REST API calls for investigations
- Execute database queries to provide insights for investigations
- Document technical knowledge base articles for future reference
Requirements and Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- At least 8 years of experience in IT (SRE, sysadmin, developer, QA, technical support, or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong understanding of systems architecture of cloud-hosted applications
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Project management and documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure components
- Experience with REST APIs and tools like Postman
- Experience with application logging/monitoring tools like Datadog;
- Experience with SQL, Linux & Network environments
- Ability to learn new technical skills quickly
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Understanding of machine learning concepts
- Experience with agile software development process
- Jenkins or similar CI pipeline
- Bash scripting for Linux
- Basic skills in software development
- Experience with Docker & Microservices
