Job Description:

The Opcenter Core and Electronics MES Expert is responsible for planning, designing, configuring, developing, and testing the Opcenter application. This role will work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of the application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, configure, implement, develop, and maintain Siemens Opcenter Core and Electronics (Camstar MES) application to meet company needs.
  • Analyze, design, configure, develop, and test requested functionality in the development environment.
  • Install and configure Opcenter Core and Electronics high availability.
  • Support operations team in testing and accepting new changes in the Opcenter test environment.
  • Collaborate with DBA team to migrate newly developed functionality to production environment with minimal negative impact on business.
  • Monitor Opcenter Core and Electronics application to ensure normal operation in the production line.
  • Maintain documentation for key applications.
  • Follow industry leading practices for Software Development Life Cycle and company policies and practices for Opcenter Core and Electronics.
  • Collaborate with global IT team (including Opcenter Core and Electronics experts) for Opcenter Core and Electronics MES projects and support activities.
  • Train junior or new members of the team and users as required.
  • Support analytics.
