Digital Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned technologist with a strong background in manufacturing execution systems (MES) implementation.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to bridge the gap between technical and functional aspects of MES projects.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex MES solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and drive operational efficiency.

This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, strong technical acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in the implementation and configuration of MES systems, including Simatic IT/OpCenter, Syncade, and FTPC/FTPS/PMX.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for MES solutions.
• Configure and customize MES modules to meet specific client needs.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Design and manage Oracle database solutions for MES applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Integrate MES systems with other enterprise applications using API protocols (SOAP, REST) and data exchange mechanisms (FTPC/FTPS).
• Utilize knowledge of SQL, CI/CD, DevOps, Microsoft Foundation technologies, JAVA, and JavaScript to support MES development and integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MES systems.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Project Management and Stakeholder Communication:

• Manage MES implementation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business analysts.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and processes.
• Develop functional and technical specifications for MES solutions.
• Design and document solution architectures and data flows.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in MES technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve MES performance and functionality.
• Provide thought leadership on MES best practices and emerging trends.

Required Skills:

• MES Expertise : Minimum 10 years of experience in digital solutions, with at least 5 years focused on MES implementations.
• MES Systems : Experience with Simatic IT/OpCenter, Syncade, and FTPC/FTPS/PMX.
• Database Management : Strong experience with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in SQL, CI/CD, DevOps, Microsoft Foundation technologies, JAVA, and JavaScript.
• API Integration : Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and logical skills.
• Project Management : Proven technical and project management experience.
• Industry Knowledge : Knowledge of industry trends and relevant application technologies.
