Job Title:

Senior IT Support Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to provide professional and efficient desktop support and customer care in a medium-large-sized enterprise environment.

  • Promote a customer-centric approach and work collaboratively with customers to resolve their technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair End User Computing equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and conferencing room hardware.
  • Ensure all assigned tickets are updated and moving towards a successful resolution in a manner that meets or exceeds Service Level Objectives.
  • Support local and remote desktops and laptops in a mixed Microsoft and Apple environment.
  • Troubleshoot and support wireless and Remote connectivity, VPN clients, Web conferencing, Printing and scanning, and Email.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with Mac OS, Windows OS, Windows 10, 11, and Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, and related applications.
  • At least 6 years of IT-related support experience.
  • Demonstrated customer service and troubleshooting skill sets.
  • Must be customer service focused and desiring to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity.
  • Must be able to work independently and adhere to company standards in areas of documentation, planning, and execution.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of job responsibilities with minimal oversight.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft stack of applications, including Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams, Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory Administration, Group Policies, and Microsoft Exchange Online.
  • Full understanding of typical PC and Mac hardware and software installation.
  • Experience supporting smart phones and tablets.
  • Understanding of security practices, including physical, internet, and wireless security.
  • Understanding of user authentication, passwords, and 2fa.
