The Senior Manager - Payroll and Compliances is a key role that oversees the verification of payouts, accounting, and reporting of payroll and payroll compliances for all Pharma businesses in India.

">

Responsibilities include defining process maps, procedures, action plans, and accountability of the processes/sub-processes related to payroll and compliances.

">

Additionally, this role involves administering payroll activities, including accounting of all payments, preparation of monthly fund flow statements, various schedules, and GL scrutiny.

">

Verification of payroll/FFS registers of multiple group entities, executing payouts, and managing statutory payments and 3rd party payments related to payroll are also essential duties.

">

Maintaining various records, preparing and presenting monthly reconciliations, and conducting governance meetings with payroll service providers are critical tasks.

">

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in commerce or finance, a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in payroll operations and accounting, and 2-3 years of team management experience.

">

Key skills required include proficiency in payroll processing and accounting in SAP, strong planning, organizing, and time management skills, and high proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint.

">

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality are essential qualities for success in this role.

">

The Senior Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, including employees, other work streams of the GEEC team, corporate finance, internal auditors, site HR and finance teams.

">

External stakeholders include external providers for payroll services and compliances, statutory and regulatory authorities, legal consultants, insurance companies, external auditors, and actuaries.

">

The role requires regular communication with the corporate finance team and other stakeholders.

">

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are crucial for success.
