Job Description

Penta Consulting is a technology resource solutions provider to leading OEMs across the EMEA region. We are currently working with our global client in the search for a D365 POS Functional Consultant.

This role will focus on delivering retail business value through implementing D365 Commerce POS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other D365 modules and configuring customizations to meet client needs.

Our ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience with D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce) and has a strong understanding of retail business processes including sales, inventory, promotions and customer management.

Additionally, they should have experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps and D365 configuration tools as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail.
  • Hands-on experience with D365 POS (Modern POS, Cloud POS, Store Commerce).
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes including sales, inventory, promotions and customer management.
  • Experience with lifecycle services (LCS), Azure DevOps and D365 configuration tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 Commerce or related modules preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and customize D365 Commerce POS modules to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other D365 modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
  • Lead functional workshops to gather and analyse business requirements related to retail operations and POS systems.
  • Provide end-to-end support during implementation phases including UAT, training and go-live.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve POS-related issues post-deployment.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft's roadmap for D365 Commerce and recommend enhancements.
  • Support data migration and testing activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals.
