Job Description:

We seek a subject matter expert with expertise in generative AI to develop high-quality assessment items for a certification course.

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to create clear, standards-aligned assessment items that help students master key concepts and practices.

The SME will be responsible for developing accurate and relevant assessment items aligned with the certification's learning objectives.

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts, generative AI tools, and applications.
  • Prior experience in assessment design, test development, or curriculum development.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner for diverse learners.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Education).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI platforms and tools (e.g. ChatGPT, DALL·E, Bard, Claude, or similar).
  • Experience working within the K–12 education sector or with adult/workforce training, particularly in curriculum design or content review.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles, Bloom's Taxonomy, and competency-based assessments.
  • Certification in CCS Generative AI Foundations or another AI/ML-related credential.
