Agile Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Project Manager to lead and manage agile software development projects from initiation to completion. This individual will be responsible for anchoring the scrum ceremonies across projects in web application and mobile application development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure successful delivery of software products that meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Anchoring Scrum Teams and ensuring sprint ceremonies are conducted following defined Agile methodologies.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and executing projects according to Agile methodologies.

  • Leading and motivating agile development teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment, providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members to maximize their productivity and efficiency.

  • Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies, proactively addressing issues that may impact project timelines or quality, ensuring projects are delivered with minimal disruptions.

  • Facilitating communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular status updates, reports, and presentations, ensuring transparency and alignment among team members and stakeholders.

  • Collaborating with QA teams to define and implement quality standards and processes, ensuring that software products meet or exceed quality expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in the IT industry, with at least 5 years of experience in this role.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Mandatory Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
