Project Lead, Sports Development Initiative

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to manage our Sports Development Initiative. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure program delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Implementation & Operations
    • Oversee daily operations of the sports development program in target areas.
    • Coordinate with coaches, field teams, and local leaders to ensure smooth center functioning.
    • Manage tournaments, engagement events, and talent scouting initiatives.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor activities and address issues.
    • Ensure compliance with standards for attendance, coaching, equipment, and operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build partnerships with local government officials, schools, and sports organizations.
    • Align efforts with district sports departments and community leaders.
    • Lead outreach programs through schools, community centers, and local campaigns.
  • Talent Identification & Academy Coordination
    • Support coaches in identifying and developing youth talent.
    • Coordinate with academies for talent progression and training.
    • Organize trials and manage related documentation.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, or Master's degree with at least 5-7 years of similar experience.
    • Proven ability to engage and build rapport with government stakeholders.
    • Strong data management and analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
    • Ability and willingness to travel extensively within Punjab.
