Job Opportunity: Building and Scaling Ocean & Air Product Vertical

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and growth of our Ocean & Air product vertical in India. This is a transformative role that requires a leader who can build, scale and shape the strategy from the ground up.

This individual will oversee one of the largest and most critical profit and loss statements in the company, driving commercial operations, procurement strategy, pricing and carrier partnerships to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities include managing a large team of leaders, designing, building and pricing ocean and air marketplace coverage, procuring competitive market rates, managing yield and executing global carrier strategy and development on regional trade carrier strategy.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of prior ocean freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier, or 15+ years of supply chain experience with a BA/BS degree. They will possess strategic vision, bias to action, process, structure and data, excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

They must also have an obsession with client happiness, ability to travel locally, nationally and internationally, courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it, and desire to lead, train and develop up-and-coming talent.
