Operations Technical Learning Specialist Job Description

The Operations Technical Learning Specialist will develop and implement internal learning programs on the Business Process Management team.

This position will have a significant impact on the department by collaborating with management, product managers, and subject matter experts to design and facilitate technical training for all key systems and tools, product/launch enhancements, new hire, and ongoing learning needs.

Using scalable solutions and quantifiable metrics, this role will demonstrate a change in behavior or lift through an Executive Dashboard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver high-quality training content that supports business strategies.
  2. Design and implement technical learning programs that meet the needs of internal Operations employees.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant curricula and ensure effective program delivery.
  4. Assess program effectiveness using relevant metrics and report trends to continuously improve quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience plus 2-3 years of instructional design skills.
  • Excellent facilitation skills that foster engagement in a web-based or in-person environment.
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proven track record of superior communication skills including explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and/or Camtasia.
  • Experience with Salesforce (Service Cloud) and/or SharePoint is beneficial.
