Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Salesforce development lifecycle. In this vital position, you will introduce automations and self-service capabilities using Copado pipelines, thereby optimizing and accelerating our development process.

Responsibilities include managing the Salesforce release pipeline, ensuring efficient deployments to minimize downtime. You will also work closely with product owners and development teams to plan and schedule releases, providing guidance on release dependencies, technical constraints, and risks.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the development teams in automating build, test, and deployment processes, enabling continuous integration and delivery in the Salesforce ecosystem. Ongoing support and troubleshooting for post-release issues are also essential to ensure timely resolution of any problems that arise.

Maintaining and optimizing existing Salesforce CI/CD delivery pipeline and processes is crucial. This involves streamlining current processes with a focus on automation and partnering with development teams to apply agile software delivery and DevOps practices effectively.

Staying abreast of the latest trends in DevOps methodologies and emerging industry solutions is vital. Researching Salesforce capabilities as needed to suit business requirements and providing gap analysis is also necessary.

Collaboration with other developers, including business analysts, QA analysts, and project managers, is critical to achieving our goals. Developing innovative solutions using generative AI technologies and conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency are also key responsibilities.

Creating and maintaining documentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations is essential. Designing, developing, and implementing applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements, requires careful planning and execution.

Analyzing and understanding functional and technical requirements of applications, solutions, and systems, and translating them into software architecture and design specifications, is vital. Implementing unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure software quality is also essential.

Identifying and resolving software bugs and performance issues, as well as maintaining detailed documentation of software designs, code, and development processes, are critical tasks.
