Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our end-users.

  • You will handle user support and VC support inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Your expertise will include hardware/software troubleshooting and resolution, as well as L1 level network troubleshooting and resolution for LAN Connectivity.
  • You will provide hands-on support to our Backend team for Network/Server/application issues.
  • Asset inventory and asset-related activities will be your responsibility.
  • You will also assist with end-user project-related activities, such as OS upgradation, coverage tool update, etc.
  • Printer installation and Office 365 support are also key aspects of this role.
  • You will maintain detailed records of asset inventory.
  • Unresolved incidents will require follow-up with end-users/vendors/on-site engineers.
  • You will escalate unresolved incidents to L2 engineers when necessary.
  • Updating correct artifacts on the ITSM portal is an essential part of this job.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hardware/software troubleshooting and resolution.
    • L1 level network troubleshooting and resolution for LAN Connectivity.
    • Office 365 support.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Education and Certifications:
    • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Certifications in technical areas (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco).
