Maintenance Technician Role

Job Summary:

We seek a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our nutraceutical manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, ensuring accurate and efficient production.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain product quality standards during machine operations in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
  • Record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are performed according to requirements.
  • Report and escalate equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities promptly.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-4 years' experience in machinery operations within the nutraceuticals, food manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines is essential.
  • Familiarity with food technology processes (mixing, drying, stability testing) is required.
Necessary Skills:
  • A strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines.
