Steel Detailer and Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Steel Detailer and Procurement Specialist to support our operations. This role will focus on detailing and reviewing drawings, preparing bills of materials, and managing procurement needs for our projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Steel Detailing: Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings and bills of materials.
  • Procurement: Review drawings and shop details to identify all materials, hardware, and consumables required for fabrication and installation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Software proficiency in Tekla Structures or AutoCAD/Advance Steel (required).
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Excel (required). Familiarity with Revit or Tekla EPM (FabSuite) a plus.
  • Strong understanding of structural and architectural steel fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
  • Experience preparing takeoffs and bills of materials from shop drawings.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Prior experience working with U.S.-based construction or fabrication companies preferred.
