Steel Detailer & Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our operations in detailing and reviewing drawings, preparing bills of materials, and managing procurement needs for our projects.

The role will focus on interpreting architectural and structural drawings, producing accurate shop drawings and bills of materials, and using detailing software to model and detail steel components.

  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings and bills of materials.
  • Use detailing software to model and detail steel components including stairs, railings, embeds, and structural steel.
  • Generate and organize CNC files, bolt lists, BOM and fabrication-ready documentation.

This role requires strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and the ability to work independently. Prior experience working with U.S.-based construction or fabrication companies is preferred.

Requirements:
  • Software Proficiency: Tekla Structures or AutoCAD/Advance Steel (required).
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Excel (required). Familiarity with Revit or Tekla EPM (FabSuite) a plus.
  • Strong understanding of structural and architectural steel fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings.
  • Experience preparing takeoffs and bills of materials from shop drawings.
