Job Overview

As a Postgre Database Specialist, you will be working in a collaborative environment that requires strong database management and optimization skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent expertise in Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server Application DBA tasks to ensure robust database management and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of database technologies and implement quality control functionality for business rules (logic) in databases.
  • Design, build, develop, and manage pipelines using database technologies with the highest standards of data governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust data solutions that meet security initiatives and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Implement monitoring and logging processes using Azure database capabilities to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure data quality and accessibility.
  • Document procedures and workflows associated with data pipelines to contribute to best practices.
  • Share knowledge about the latest Azure Database trends and techniques.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the system to identify possible security risks and implement preventive measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent command of English and effective communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing database-driven applications and pipeline development using Azure PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of security principles in the context of data and ability to write, debug, and optimize data transformations and datasets.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions using Azure Database or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD sets for database object release management.

  • Experience working in Agile development processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
