Senior BIM Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Manager to oversee the development and implementation of our BIM strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of BIM professionals and drive digital transformation across our projects.

  • Develop and maintain BIM protocols, Execution Plans, and documentation in the project delivery process.
  • Manage and coordinate BIM use across projects, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Analyse and implement BIM Client Requirements and BIM Execution Plans for BIM deliverables.
  • Document and communicate best practices and workflows to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with BIM Specialists, Modelers, Leads, and Managers to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead and manage a team of MEP CAD/Revit Modelers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced.
  • Use Navisworks tools for review/QC/documentation, performing QA/QC before deliverables.
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required.
  • Monitor team compliance with BIM standards and guidelines, conducting regular reviews and audits.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients regarding project issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in design, drafting, and BIM management on large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools, with advanced skills in data management and coordination.
  • Experience with Navis for Coordination, with a strong understanding of MEP services and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
