Job Description:

As a Research Associate in the Energy Sector, you will be responsible for analyzing energy markets, managing energy data, and conducting industry research to support policy and regulation development.

You will conduct in-depth research on energy policies, regulatory frameworks, and market trends, with a focus on India's energy transition. Your analysis will provide critical insights on energy policies notified by the Central and State governments, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events impacting Indian energy security.

You will engage with government agencies, private sector entities, and industry leaders through meetings, emails, and conference calls to understand issues and write concept papers. You will also compile, analyze, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to provide actionable insights for policy advocacy, regulatory analysis, and concept papers.

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru, and you will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from a reputed institute with minimum 3 years of experience in policy analysis, regulatory research, or energy consulting.
  • Strong understanding and expertise in India's power sector.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to draw insights from data, structure reports, and develop clear storyboards for presentations.
