This is a critical role in our organization, responsible for executing the strategy of service management tools at a technical level.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of the vision and will be able to translate that into appropriate technical execution.

Key responsibilities include managing systems and/or tools applications while supporting development roadmaps and project tasks.

Additionally, the candidate will work closely with business unit management and decision-makers to execute towards the project backlog.

This role requires strong technical expertise in areas such as network experience, NetApp/Hitachi Storage systems experience, Linux/UNIX/AIX/Solaris operating systems experience, and Windows Server operating systems experience.

A strong working knowledge of monitoring platforms like LogicMonitor and ITIL-based service management/ticketing systems is also required.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in this field and will be able to demonstrate skills such as adjusting alert thresholds, researching problems, producing customer reports and data feeds, and troubleshooting monitoring connectivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong familiarity with administering LogicMonitor
  • Familiarity with administering ScienceLogic SL1
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, other technical groups, vendor tech support
  • Clear communicator with external customers via email, tickets, phone
