Backend Architect for FinTech Mobile App

Architect and implement the backend foundation for a mobile app that brings hedge-fund-grade trading intelligence to everyday investors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-performance backend systems using Node.js, NestJS, and microservices architecture.

The Role
  • Design and Deliver High-Performance Backend Systems: Utilize Node.js, NestJS, and microservices architecture to create scalable and efficient backend systems.
  • Create Low-Latency Microservices: Develop real-time APIs and services over REST, WebSockets, and gRPC.
  • Build Mission-Critical APIs: Integrate with frontend apps, AI engines, and external brokerage APIs.
  • Take Ownership of Backend Reliability, Security, and Scalability: Ensure the stability and performance of backend systems in an equity-only, pre-funding environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices and API-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience building low-latency, high-performance systems with sub-100ms response targets.
