Senior Technical Lead - AI Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to lead our AI Platform Team. This role will be responsible for building a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency, and quality.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2+ years of technical leadership experience. They should be hands-on, having designed, built, and scaled production applications and led teams of highly competent engineers. Additionally, they should have experience upleveling junior engineers and fostering an environment that creates high-quality code and software engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development of the AI Platform Team's centralized AI infrastructure and acceleration solutions.
  2. Work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps and provide technical direction to teams.
  3. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise.
  4. Mentor junior engineers on how to build high-quality software.
  5. Continually raise engineering standards to maintain high-availability and low-latency for ML inference infrastructure.
  6. Optimize low-latency streaming pipelines to give ML models fresh and high-quality data.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
  • Hands-on experience in leading teams of highly competent engineers.
  • Experience upleveling junior engineers and fostering high-quality code and software engineering processes.
Nice to Have:
  • Rapid growth experience in a company (from startup to mid-size).
  • Experience working with Golang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Background in working with AI/LLM models.
