Control Systems Engineer

To have a passion for Control systems in Datacenter industry or Datacenter projects.
Review and lead the design of Control and Monitoring systems from concept phase to project delivery.

About this role:

We're looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing control systems for data centers.

  • Design, implement, and maintain control systems for data center applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure resiliency, functionality, segregation, bandwidth, and other requirements are met.
  • Create tender requirements for control systems and review specialist consultants' designs and implementations.
  • Review control system contractor submissions and implementations, and assist in resolving end-user monitoring and control issues.
  • Manage operational activities during new implementations and upgrades of existing systems, and maintain control system uptime in the central NOC room in coordination with the IT team and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain control system standards for the company.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in control system implementation for data center projects.
  • Experience working in different countries.
  • Knowledge of analog control and monitoring, direct digital controller, programmable logic controller, ELV systems, UPS systems, green field design, live data center modification, maintenance operation, testing and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, structural, architectural, quantity survey, cost estimation, project management, construction management, and facilities management.
