Electronics Engineer Position

Job Description:

The Electronics Engineer position is a crucial role in developing and implementing electro-mechanical systems for avionics and other electronic systems in our aerospace projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of electronic components with mechanical systems into our UAS.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects at the forefront of aerospace technology, spearheading complex electronics system design, analysis, and integration. A deep technical expert, this role requires a profound understanding of the core principles of electronics engineering with proficiency in mechanical engineering.

Design & Development:

  • Responsible for designing high-precision electro-mechanical systems that meet stringent performance and reliability standards.
  • Define selection criteria for key electronics and mechanical components, testing and validating them for use in different subsystems.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate embedded systems with mechanical systems, ensuring alignment in design parameters and tolerance considerations.
  • Develop comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure the robustness and integrity of embedded software and mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Proactively address issues and mitigate risks associated with embedded software development and mechanical systems to ensure project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Aeronautical (Avionics).
  • Strong electro-mechanical design instincts and a thorough understanding of dynamics and control.
  • Hands-on expertise in housing electronic and circuit assembly.
  • Working knowledge of parametric modeling CAD software.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Appreciation for technology evolution and modern engineering practices.
