Our HR Operations team is dedicated to delivering business results through impactful programs and solutions. We strive to create efficient people practices that enhance the associate and candidate experience. A key position in our dynamic team is the HR Risk Lead.

The HR Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in leading risk management activities within the HR function, driving a culture of compliance and ensuring all aspects of HR work are aligned with organizational goals. This involves designing strategies and work plans for the function, overseeing the delivery of these plans, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing HR in centralized risk management forums and projects, providing insightful guidance on HR risk management and facilitating the delivery of required work within HR. Additionally, they will lead HR through external reviews and audits, including those conducted by regulators.

The HR Risk Lead owns controls testing for HR, ensuring related assurance, tracking remediation, and improving control/documentation. They will also ensure HR compliance through continued evolution of compliance programs/controls and challenging processes/activities through testing to sustain compliance. Furthermore, this role includes designing new risk-related programs of work to address emerging strategic HR risk management issues and leading on resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement internal governance processes, including consistent controls and monitoring programs for HR
  • Manage documentation and execution of HR controls to demonstrate adherence to local employment laws and quality delivery of services
  • Lead audit activities, establishing a framework for both internal and external audits and supporting the team in producing artifacts
  • Lead HR risk activities and serve as Risk point-person
  • Help track and resolve HR issues within agreed-upon timeframes
  • Develop a reporting framework and cadence to inform team and leaders on risks and issues
  • Consult leaders and team members to ensure end-to-end services and products are well managed
  • Stay current on intent and subject matter targets to support the team in risk management
  • Perform in a leadership role to help teams deliver large-scale HR Risk deliverables and understand impact on other teams, programs, or departments
  • Accountable for overall delivery of specified compliance activities, IRP, regular, and ongoing process and procedures reviews and updates

Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelors Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Project management, leading cross-functional projects and programs in HR Risk
  • 8+ years of experience in Risk or Audit Management
  • PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
