Aeropolitical and Airline Partnerships Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of IndiGo's aeropolitical and airline partnerships strategies.
- Analyze and assess emerging international and domestic air transport policies and their impact on the airline's commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with the network planning team to collect data on origin and destination, supply and demand, and code-share traffic, and provide recommendations to enhance traffic rights entitlements.
- Conduct long-term analysis of economic, political, social, and airline industry trends relevant to an airline based in India, ensuring the airline's assets, designation, traffic rights, frequencies, and routing rights are safeguarded.
- Support efforts to obtain aeropolitical and regulatory approvals from governments, and contribute to the development and management of code-share relationships.
- Maintain productive relationships with civil aviation authorities to secure maximum commercial and aeropolitical benefit.
- Support special projects and key assignments on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Management or Law.
- At least 7 years of experience working in an airline or airline consulting environment, with a rounded knowledge of the airline industry and operations.
- Good communication and writing skills, with strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to demonstrate high-level autonomy while handling assigned projects.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with the capacity to sustain pressure.
- Regular evaluation of department processes, with recommendations provided to the AVP-Aeropolitical and Airline Partnerships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
