Aeropolitical Role Overview

IndiGo seeks an experienced Aeropolitical Strategist to support bilateral requirements and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will assess emerging international and domestic air transport policies, analyze competitors' and allies' activities, and advise management on commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support IndiGo in bilateral negotiations with governments to secure aeropolitical and regulatory approvals.
  • Analyze and evaluate international and domestic air transport policies, competitors' and allies' activities, and their impact on IndiGo's commercial objectives.
  • Develop position papers and participate in bilateral air services negotiations.
  • Maintain productive relationships with civil aviation authorities to secure maximum commercial and aeropolitical benefits.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree in Management or Law.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an airline or airline consulting environment.
  • Strong communication, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate high-level autonomy and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
