Airlines Employee Relations Lead

Job Title: Lead Employee Relations
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of employee relations in the airlines industry. As a Lead Employee Relations specialist, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of employee relations strategies and supporting the Head of ER, HR Directors & Partners, and Station managers on a wide range of employee relation issues, labour law, and court matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the ER policy, processes, and tools to deliver required changes at all levels of the organisation
- Set direction, create policy, and offer expert advice in all matters relating to collective bargaining and industrial relations issues
- Identify current & potential risks at stations and evolve plans to mitigate
- Build ER skills and expertise across the stations, including capabilities in labour legislations
- Co-ordinate and integrate all ER activity across the business into a coherent plan
- Support and align cultural and behavioural change necessary for all ER programmes
- Foster strong links with external networks and share best practice in the field of Employee Relations
- Handle labour dispute between employee and company, as a liaison to labour officials
Requirements:
- Experience of complex union negotiations / consultations
- Strong knowledge of Factory Act, S&E, Contract Labour (R&A) Act, EPF, ESIC, and other applicable labour laws & new wage code
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Excellent decision making & problem-solving skills
