Airline Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team at IndiGo. This role is responsible for supporting the airline's bilateral requirements and regulatory needs.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Management or Law and at least 7 years of experience working in an airline or airline consulting environment.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate high-level autonomy while handling assigned projects, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and sustain pressure. They will also be adept with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the airline's bilateral requirements and regulatory needs
• Analyze emerging international and domestic air transport policies
• Assess other airlines' competitive and alliance activities
• Apprise management of the impact of international policies on IndiGo's commercial objectives
• Interact with Network Planning to collect relevant data and recommend timeline plans to enhance traffic rights entitlements
• Conduct long-term analysis of economic, political, social, and airline industry trends
• Support efforts to obtain aeropolitical and regulatory approvals from governments
• Maintain productive relationships with civil aviation authorities

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree in Management or Law
• At least 7 years of experience in an airline or airline consulting environment
• Rounded knowledge of the airline industry and operations
• Strong communication and writing skills, with negotiation skills
• Able to demonstrate high-level autonomy and handle multiple tasks
• Adept with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
