Transform Data with Ease

As a skilled data professional, you will design and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Stored Procedures to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Build efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake to handle large datasets and provide real-time insights.
  • Optimize Data Models: Design and optimize data models with clustering keys and micro-partitioning to improve query performance and reduce storage costs.
  • Real-Time Ingestion and Integration: Implement Snowpipe for real-time ingestion and external tables for data lake integration to provide a unified view of enterprise data.
  • Advanced Data Transformations: Develop complex stored procedures and UDFs in JavaScript and SQL to handle intricate data transformations and aggregation.
  • SQL Query Mastery: Write optimized SQL queries with window functions, CTEs, and pivots to analyze large datasets and identify business trends.
  • Resource Management: Manage multi-cluster warehouses and implement resource monitors for cost control to optimize Snowflake usage and minimize expenses.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake development, including strong Snowflake SQL and basic JavaScript programming.
  • Working knowledge of Tasks, Streams, Stages, File Formats, Time Travel, and warehouse sizing, auto-suspend/resume, and query optimization.
  • Experience with dbt core concepts (models, sources, tests, snapshots) and familiarity with RBAC, data types, and semi-structured data (JSON/XML).
  • Basic knowledge of SnowSQL CLI and Snowflake web interface.
