Senior Data Architect Job Description

As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of data architectures that meet the needs of our clients. This includes defining data strategies, developing use cases, and implementing solutions to distributed computing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of data architectures
  • Define data strategies and develop use cases
  • Implement solutions to distributed computing challenges
  • Mentor junior consultants and architects
  • Help define our approach and screen candidates in the technical hiring process
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of data architecture and design principles, as well as experience with distributed systems and big data technologies. You should also have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hadoop or related technologies
  • Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization configuration for Hadoop based distributed systems
  • Deep knowledge of the Data/Big Data business domain
  • Familiarity with BI tools and Data Science notebooks
