Cloud Data Engineer - High Performance

Our forward-thinking organization is seeking an exceptional Data Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of our high-performance cloud data pipelines.

Job Description:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deploy scalable data engineering solutions using cutting-edge cloud technologies such as Apache Spark and AWS Glue/EMR.
  • Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop innovative machine learning models and deploy them in production environments.
  • Develop, test, and implement data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure high-quality data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep knowledge of distributed computing, data engineering principles, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Strong expertise in Python programming language (Preferred) and proficiency in relevant libraries and frameworks such as PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services including Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift, and other cloud data warehouses.
  • Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and optimize complex data processing workflows using Spark API's (DataFrame, Dataset, RDD).
  • Experience working with modern data engineering tools and technologies including Delta Lake, dbt, Apache Airflow, and similar orchestration tools.
