Job Title: Cybersecurity Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Director to lead our organization's information security strategy and programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive information security strategies, policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust security controls to protect all information assets, including networks, systems, applications, and data.
  • Lead risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Establish incident response and business continuity plans for effective recovery from security incidents or breaches.
  • Collaborate with IT, risk management, compliance, and legal teams to ensure security integration into all business processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats, industry trends, and technologies, advising on best practices and innovations.
  • Educate employees on security awareness and training programs to promote a culture of security throughout the organization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, auditors, and vendors, on all security matters.
  • Provide regular reports to executive leadership and the board on the organization's information security posture and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing information security strategies.
  • Expertise in security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
