For a position that combines government relations and project coordination, we seek a highly skilled Senior Liaison Officer.

About the Role:

  • We require an experienced individual to serve as our primary liaison between our organization and various government departments, local authorities, and regulatory agencies.
  • This includes facilitating timely acquisition of necessary project permissions, clearances, and NOCs.
  • Liaising with town planning departments, land registration offices, and legal consultants is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will build and maintain effective professional relationships with government officials, statutory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and interpreting changes in real estate regulations, zoning laws, land acquisition policies, and other relevant government procedures is essential.
  • This role involves proactively preparing and implementing a structured liaison process, including timelines, documentation standards, and compliance checklists.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in liaison, government relations, or legal coordination roles.
  • Proven track record of working closely with BMC, Town Planning, Urban Development Authorities, Pollution Boards, and other government bodies.
  • Strong legal and regulatory knowledge applicable to real estate, infrastructure, or urban development projects.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with government officials and legal professionals.
