Trust Management Position

A Senior Trust Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities in accordance with international trust concepts and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities, including producing legal documents and communicating with clients and authorities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of each entity in the portfolio to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
  • Provide strategic solutions and legal analysis for structuring different variations of trusts and commercial entities.
  • Develop client relationships, operational risk management, service level agreements, and coordination of client deliverables.
  • Expand voice and face contact with clients and intermediaries working for target clients.
  • Ensure adherence to our company's 4-Pillar approach in particular compliance, legal and corporate services, transaction monitoring, and tax and transparency.
  • Meet financial chargeability targets and ensure effective monitoring of transactions.
  • Anticipate and manage the impact of emerging regulatory, taxation, or legal changes and ensure compliance-related risk addressed on behalf of the client.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree and other relevant professional trust-related qualifications.
  • STEP qualification in trust and tax would be highly advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with trust/estate law, ideally with a business in a similar industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen, proactive, positive, dedicated, focused, and revenue driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, well-developed spoken and written communication skills, and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences.
