Global Investment Ambassador

The role of a Global Investment Ambassador plays a pivotal part in showcasing international markets as prime locations for investments. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging with senior executives from Indian companies, understanding their global expansion goals, and facilitating investment attraction through collaboration with international economic development agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and connect potential Indian corporates and conglomerates interested in international investments.
  • Engage with C-suite executives to promote business growth opportunities across multiple sectors.
  • Drive lead generation programs on behalf of international EDAs across various regions.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and EDAs to effectively position their respective geographies.
  • Develop and execute sector-specific outreach initiatives, B2B meetings, and international business roadshows.
  • Support inbound and outbound trade/investment missions, enhancing productive corporate engagements.
  • Provide market intelligence and reports on Indian outbound investment trends and sector insights.
  • Prepare industry pitches and reports aligned with the objectives of our EDA clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate possesses a graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field. They have 3-6 years of experience in business development, investment promotion, international trade advisory, or market entry consulting. Experience working with international bodies, Corporate Banks, investment agencies, chambers of commerce, or consulting firms is preferred.

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven ability in CxO-level relationship management and business development.
  • Strong capability to sell countries/regions as investment destinations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of FDI drivers, global trade, and cross-border investment trends.
  • Experience in managing corporate outreach, roadshows, and delegation visits.
  • A network of Indian corporates, conglomerates, and high-growth enterprises is advantageous.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and international exposure are highly desirable.
