Operations Director Capital Equipment

Overview:
The position of General Manager Manufacturing is a leadership role responsible for overseeing four critical departments—Production, Purchasing, Stores & Planning, and Quality.
This individual will be accountable for ensuring efficient shop floor operations, robust supply chain coordination, and world-class quality control.
As a strategic thinker with deep hands-on experience in machine assembly, fabrication, and industrial engineering within the capital equipment manufacturing domain, this person will drive process improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily activities and ensure effective collaboration among departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve customer satisfaction.
Key qualifications include:
Deep understanding of manufacturing principles, including production planning, inventory management, and quality control.
Experience in managing teams and developing talent to achieve business objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.
Proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and drive change.
