Healthcare M&A Strategy Manager Role

As a Healthcare M&A Strategy Manager, you will lead and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed client expectations:

  • Assisting large multinationals, private equity houses, corporates, and promoter-driven businesses across the breadth of advisory activities, including buy-side/sell-side assistance, M&A, demerger/carve-out advisory, etc.
  • Working on multiple transactions - post-deal integration and post-deal value enhancement such as organization design, day 1 readiness, transformation, and turnaround (enterprise-wide, supply chain, finance, operations) etc.
  • Focus on delivering engagements across domains like hospitals, med-tech, diagnostics, health-tech, life sciences, etc.
  • Assisting clients on working capital optimization, cost optimization, and cash flow management engagements (including running 360-degree diagnostics, benchmarking activities, and implementing improvement measures).
  • Supporting active deal activities, including financial analysis and internal presentations.
  • Performing data analysis and arriving at conclusions/identifying issues/red flags.
  • Developing integration and execution plans aligned to post-deal transactions.
  • Managing and coordinating project deliverables together with the rest of the team.
  • Developing quality deliverables within agreed timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of healthcare industry experience across hospitals in core operations domain across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to run multiple workstreams on an engagement and lead a team of 3-4 consultants/executives.
  • Relevant experience of working with private equity clients, Indian and global healthcare companies.
  • A post-graduate degree in management from a tier 1 Indian or global business school.
  • Qualified healthcare management graduate – MHA/MBBS.
  • Experience of NABH assessment would be advantageous.
  • Graduation with a premium institute/university.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to process and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
