About the Role:

This position oversees the development of electrical and mechanical design strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and innovation priorities.

  • Define and execute comprehensive design approaches for electrical and mechanical disciplines, driven by business goals and innovation initiatives.
  • Promote the adoption of cutting-edge design technologies and tools, including automation, AI/ML, and digital twins, across all design functions.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and executive leadership to guide product development and integrate new technologies.
  • Manage project prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design team in developing transformer products, focusing on technical excellence, process standardization, and strategic alignment.

  • Evaluate and implement advanced design tools and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of proven experience in dry type or cast resin transformers.
  • Advanced knowledge of transformer design, power systems engineering, and digital design tools.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to connect design execution with business outcomes.
