Key to success is our new Electrical Works Lead role. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in leading and executing electrical works under various projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution:
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project delivery.
    • Lead the execution of electrical works including power distribution lines, substations, and related infrastructure.
    • Monitor progress against schedule, budget, and quality parameters; identify variances and implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.
  • Business Growth:
    • Explore business opportunities.
    • Ensure timely submission of technical & financial bids.
    • Improve bid-to-win ratio.
  • Team Development:
    • Mentor junior project managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Stakeholder Relations:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, contractors, and local communities.

About You:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically in rural electrification or power distribution.
  • Strong expertise in rural electrification, power distribution, and project execution.
  • Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale electrical infrastructure projects internationally or in challenging environments.
  • Willingness to relocate to Benin and travel to any location for site visit and coordination.
