Job Overview

Talasha is seeking a seasoned City Operations Director to spearhead last mile operations for its rapidly growing consumer tech firm in India. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end city-wide operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Role: Own and manage city-wide operations to guarantee efficient service delivery.
  • Staff Management: Oversee the deployment, training, uptime, servicing, and utilization of ground staff.
  • Process Enhancement: Analyze and implement improvements in processes and procedures to boost customer satisfaction metrics, reduce costs, and enhance service efficiency.
  • Network Optimization: Design an optimized instant-delivery network to minimize delivery timelines and maximize network efficiency.
  • Scalable Processes: Develop scalable processes that expand the value proposition and can be replicated in top cities across the country.
  • Performance Metrics: Create performance monitoring metrics by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, service breaches, lost orders, cost per service, etc.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead teams of hub executives and recruiters.
  • Staff Acquisition: Drive staff acquisition through on-ground marketing.
  • Innovation and Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvements in technology and algorithms used by the operations team.
Requirements
  • 10-14 years of experience in driving business and last mile operations.
  • Experience handling operations P&L, large grey collar teams, and complex ground operations.
  • Excellent data and analytical skills to own Performance Metrics.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
