Job Opportunity

As a Centre Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement effective strategies to achieve our goals.
  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration efforts.
  • Student Support: Ensure that students receive high-quality education and training.
  • Placement Facilitation: Assist students in securing job placements.
  • Culture Fostering: Create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Communication: Engage with stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve organisational goals.
  • Financial Management: Manage finances effectively, ensuring budgeting and expenditure align with organisational objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the skills development industry, with 3 years in team management.
  • At least 3 years' experience in donor-funded skilling operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including patience and perseverance.
  • Ability to counsel students.
  • A passion for working with marginalised communities.

Key Qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of staff. They will also have a proven track record of successfully managing finances and achieving organisational goals.
