We are seeking an experienced Property Acquisition Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

As a key member of our acquisitions team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring prime retail locations for our stores. This involves conducting thorough market research to identify potential locations, evaluating local demographics, footfall potential, and competitive landscapes.

You will also conduct site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility. Your role will involve:

  • Market Research & Property Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential locations for new retail stores.
  • Site Visits & Initial Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess property suitability based on location, accessibility, and visibility.
  • Negotiation Support: Provide support to senior managers in negotiating lease terms, rental agreements, or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.
  • Coordination & Documentation: Work closely with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements.
  • Vendor & Broker Relations: Build relationships with brokers, agents, and developers to stay informed about new property listings.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Assistance: Assist in ensuring all legal, zoning, and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A basic understanding of real estate laws and property regulations.
  • Experience working in real estate or a related field (desirable but not essential).
