Senior Accountant Role

This is a challenging and rewarding Senior Accountant role that requires strong skills in financial management, accounting, and compliance. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. They should be proficient in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accounting Operations: Record journal entries, ensure monthly closure of accounts, and perform ledger reconciliations (banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable).
  2. Invoicing & Payments: Prepare and issue invoices, follow up on collections, process vendor payments, and manage payables as per agreed terms.
  3. Reconciliations: Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and coordinate with vendors for pending filings, and quarterly reconciliation of Form 26AS.
  4. Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  5. MIS Reporting: Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management.
  6. Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries, and provide required documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
