Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying with a strong background in civil engineering. Responsibilities include cost estimation, budget management, contract administration, and collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scope Study: In-line with design requirements, validate technical specifications received from the design team, and optimize specifications without any deviation in client requirement deliveries.
  • BOQ Validation: Validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and backup workings, present BOQs and solutions to management, and get approvals.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, checking RA bills and final bills, preparing amendments, and validating budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Cost Analysis: Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design, explore new products, propose different optimization options in budgets, and complete budget requirements in given TAT without any delays.
  • Reporting: Prepare different reports on cost analysis of projects as per management requirements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying with a strong background in civil engineering.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
