Aviation Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Engineer to lead our team of engineers in the delivery of civil engineering projects at airports.

This is a senior role that requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the design lead for airfield civil engineering projects, taking ownership of their successful delivery.
  • Lead and manage a team of junior engineers, providing guidance and direction to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications related to the delivery of airfield engineering projects.
  • Undertake or contribute to technical design reviews to meet quality management requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate designs with team members, industry associates and Clients, ensuring effective project delivery.

As Aviation Engineering Lead you will be responsible for leading and managing the growth of our aviation team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, particularly in the field of airport design and construction. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers to achieve outstanding results.

Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Civil engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
