Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Manager to lead our steel industry project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all civil works, including project planning, site supervision, quality control, safety management, budget and cost control, contract management, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in leading greenfield projects. They should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for all civil works.
  • Site Supervision: Direct and supervise all on-site civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain a rigorous quality control system to ensure all civil works meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Safety Management: Enforce strict safety regulations on the construction site, conducting safety briefings and identifying potential hazards.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Manage the project budget for all civil works, tracking expenses and preparing cost reports.
  • Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts with various subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating terms and monitoring performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities, preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management.
