PostgreSQL Database Expert

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL database expert to design, develop and maintain high-performance databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust database solutions using PostgreSQL.
  • Optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Implement secure data models and ensure adherence to best practices to protect sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate PostgreSQL databases with backend systems.
  • Develop backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in database technologies, with at least 2 years in PostgreSQL.
  • Strong skills in query optimization, performance tuning, and data security.
  • Hands-on experience with indexing, normalization, and schema design to improve database performance.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with additional database tools or languages aligned to client needs.
  • Experience with modern data integration frameworks and backend systems.
